Private by default
Your diary entries are private. No one, not other users, not the public, not search engines, can see your entries unless you explicitly choose to make them visible.
Your data
We store your email address for authentication. You sign in with a one-time password sent by email or with a passkey, so we never store or handle passwords. You never have to give your real name, and we will never share your email without your explicit consent.
Your profile can have a display name, a bio, an avatar, a public email address and links. All of them are optional, and they are only shown to people who can see your diary.
Your images are stored on Cloudflare R2, in the EU. They are not indexed, not shared with third parties, and not used for training or analytics.
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication, language preference, theme preference, and your time zone. These are strictly functional. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising.
Moderation
Approved moderators may view private content strictly for moderation purposes, such as reviewing reported content or enforcing our terms. Currently, the only moderator is @jan.
Deletion
You can delete all your entries and images, or your whole account, at any time from the menu. You confirm it with a passkey or a code sent to your email. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Infrastructure
Minner is hosted on Vercel and uses Supabase for database and authentication. The database and the servers that build the pages are in Stockholm, Sweden. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend.
